We would like to announce that NULCA now has a page set up on Linkedin
 
This LinkedIn page has been set up so that every member can have the opportunity to be heard and also contribute to NULCA.
 
NULCA is made up of a group of locating professionals, industry experts, suppliers, utility companies and industry bodies. With a membership base stretched from one end of the country to the other, it is often hard for members to get to the general meetings that are held in the main capital cities, and as such members are missing out on one of the big benefits of membership and that is word of mouth, otherwise known as learning from someone else's experience.
 
This group page or forum will hopefully allow members to ask questions in relation to issues they are having or ideas they have got, that they may not be able to discuss with the other locating companies that work close by as they are competition, or it may just be that you have no other locator that you deal with and you keep coming across the same problem and want to know if anyone knows how to overcome it.
 
The rules to this forum are pretty simple, pretty much anything goes. Try and keep offensive language to a minimum, understandably sometimes it can get a bit heated, especially when talking about utility companies, but please try and go easy with it.
 
Note the page will only be available to members only. If you are a current paid up member of NULCA Australia you will be allowed to join and contribute. If you cancel your NULCA membership or fail to pay it within the agreed time frame you will be removed from this group.
 
Discussion / questions can be about anything and everything. Whether it's a question about what locator works best for passive scan? To a question about how much PI insurance should I have? To even what sort of vehicle is best suited to locating? It doesn't really matter what the discussion is about as long as it is locating industry related.
 
End of the day this page is set up by a NULCA member for all NULCA members to use, so we hope you make the most of it.
