Just a reminder that NULCA has a forum on LinkedIn where members are inside regularly discussing different topics around the locating industry.
If you’re a member of NULCA and you’re not in the group yet, then you really aren’t making full use of your membership.
To give you a taste, here are some of the recent discussions we have been having;
- How is the best way to mark out an earth grid
- How does augview actually work
- Do you have a current direction clamp
- Is this vac truck any good
- If you are in Victoria and know how find faults then there is money waiting to be made
- Is the RD400 the best locator ever made
And these are all just the ones within the last month.
If you are a member and you haven’t joined the group yet then you really are missing out of one of the big benefits of being a member of NULCA and that is to be able to talk to others that are in the same industry as you.
To join the group click on this link http://www.linkedin.com/groups/NULCA-Australia-National-Utility-Locating-5069601/about and it will take you to the group. If you don’t already have an account with LinkedIn then you will need to sign up first.
Note: LinkedIn is an amazing tool when it comes to networking, but it is bloody confusing and not user friendly at all. If you are signing up to it for the first time, then just fill out your basic details and whatever you do don’t pay for it. You really need to be engaged in LinkedIn in a big way to get value out of buying a membership from them.
If you have any questions or need help feel free to shoot me an email.
Cheers
