We have received an official letter from Yellow Pages National Headings Commitee, informing us that we now have a new heading "UNDERGROUND SERVICE LOCATORS" . This new heading will be effective for the 2008issue of the Yellow Pages Metropolitan and regional Directories.

Today I spoke with the Yellow Pages, research manager Nayden Christie who has survey results back.  These will be presented at a meeting this Friday, so we should know the results by Monday. Will keep you all posted.  

JB Hunter Technology have been appointed the offical training organisation to develop competency based training for Nulca Locating Members. The course shall be completed by the end of December.   It is anticipated the first training sessions will  be run in February 2007 nationally.  What we envisage is that sometime in the near future, utilites will endorse
